Sunday was meant to be the day spent with the families.
So, some of us stayed at home, some of us visited the nearest castles and places of interest.
In the morning we could see a Barberino Castle, which is a private one, and was closed for people for about 20 years, as the owners have been living there.
In the afternoon some of us went to see Cafaggiolo Castle – the most famous building in Mugello and almost the symbol of this valley.
We all got together later in the afternoon to have a picnic by Barberino Lake. We ate some sandwiches, took lots of pictures and had fun.
