In the morning we visited Fiesole – a village situated on a hill, where there is a wonderful view of Florence. There are also other attractions there. We saw an old amphitheater dating from the 7th century b.c. and a church from the 11th century. This Fiesole museum not only consists of a Roman amphitheater and of the ruins of a Roman spabut also boasts remains and artistic evidence of the pre-roman Etruscan civilization.

In the afternoon we were in a ‘Mugello’ circuit in Scarperia. This was one of the best attractions of the trip, especially for our boys. We went there with our Italian friends and their families. We were lucky as there were preliminary races for Ferrari cars that day. We could see the races as well as the press room, the control room, the paddock with all the cars and mechanics, which we managed to see owing to Mr. Roberto. He was very kind and told us about lots of interesting things. It was really fascinating and exciting as we could see the cars very close, and we took lots of pictures. The cars were very fast, beautiful and loud. The total length of the track is 5.245 meters. This track belongs to Ferrari, but there are also races for motorbikes and Formula I.

In the evening we met in Borgo as there was Giuditta’s birthday, we had pizza, spent time on chatting and walking in the park. This was a really thrilling day.
