project offered by the town council of Borgo San Lorenzo. Walking to nearest train stop with train for Florence leaving at 12.47 or walking to main station with train leaving at 13.32
Sightseeing Florence by bus. Coming back at about 19.30 |
Day trip to Venice by coach leaving from school parking lot at 7.30 am. Foreseeable return to Borgo San Lorenzo at 10 pm. Leaving Venice at 6.30 pm. Dinner at some autogrill along the motorway |
All foreign students stay with their host families for the day. Nz teachers and Comenius teachers go to Florence by train for the day. Organised visit of Palazzo Pitti and Boboli gardens
Leaving Borgo railway station at 9.32 (38 min. trip) Lisa Panchetti/Torelli will accompany the group

Meeting at
7.50 outside the school for coach day trip first to Pisa with guided tour of
Piazza dei Miracoli (miracles square) with the famous leaning tower and then
on to Florence with possible guided tours around the city. Packed lunch
from school canteen for Comenius teachers and Maori group from NZ |
Departure of all the groups . To make things easier for host students and teachers it would be advisable to plan leaving for Florence between 7 am and 8 am. Families can bring foreign students to the railway station. |
