Progetto first certificate English. (sesto anno consecutivo) Si tratta di un corso di approfondimento della lingua inglese rivolto principalmente alle sezioni terminali del liceo linguistico e del liceo scientifico per poter sostenere con ragionevoli probabilità di successo l'esame First Certificate English FCE (livello B2 del quadro di riferimento europeo per le competenze linguistiche) dell' Università di Cambridge. Il progetto è proposto dalla prof. Maureen Enright  docente madrelingua inglese del Giotto Ulivi che curerà anche le attività didattiche. Il corso si tiene normalmente il giovedì pomeriggio.


 

This initiative is meant to enhance the school's spirit by spurring the students to pursue higher standards of language competence and mastery. Students are encouraged to do extra work in the English language aimed at reaching first the PET (preliminary English Test) and then the  FCE (First Certificate English). The school also contributes to pay part of the fee required to pay for the tests which have to be taken at the British Council in Florence. Students will get credits for university and will skip the English test altogether in most universities.
