Arabella Smallhorn, Francesca Arciuli, Lucy Kelman
and Alexandra Technitis from Loreto Normanhurst college, Sydney Australia,

have taken part in an exchange programme with the Liceo Giotto Ulivi of Borgo San Lorenzo, Florence, Italy from December 6th 2009 to January 10th 2010. They have carried out their tasks at school with the most positive attitude, showing great sense of responsibility, adaptability and great amiability towards Italian fellow students. They have also taken part in a short course of Italian as a foreign language thus improving their language skills reaching a B1 level of proficiency within the European framework of language competence for the oral skills.
Their Italian host family (Mr and Mrs Berni from Galliano,  Mr and Mrs Dreoni from Borgo S.L. and Mr and Mrs Santini from Dicomano) have given a very flattering report of the Loreto Normanhurst students highlighting their kindness, respect of family rules and sociability. In fact they have all so well come to grips with the family life in all its aspects as to be truly considered members of the family .
All the aforementioned elements prompt our school to evaluate their experience in Italy in the most positive way.
